Concerns about chevy leaf springs

In this picture uploadfromtaptalk1435730130399.JPG it looks as if the pinion would be facing downward and be in a really bad position, has anybody thats done this have any information about that?
 
It depends how you mount your brackets, what orientation the shackle is in, and how the spring is mounted to the axle.
