Im currently building my 91 ranger, and im going with the 410 cam 988 springs. My original plan was to use the 422 cam but summit is telling me i cant get one until May 2017 so im stuck with the 410. my question is does anybody know what needs machined on the heads to make the 988 springs work and with the 410 cam what size push rods do i need? i know it has been asked a million times id just like to get all my info in one spot.

stock springs should work with the 410. Not really sure what would need done to install the springs you have, you'll probably just want to talk to a machine shop, they'll be able to take the proper measurements and do whatever machining needs done. Same with the pushrods, stock should work but the proper measurements should be taken. I'm no machinist so I'm no help beyond there!
