I am trying to put spacers under my Coils on my 94 and i can get the passenger side Retaining nut loose but i cant get the drivers side loose. not it is starting to get stripped. I have tried a wrench throught the spring and a deep socket throught the top of the top mount and i cant get it broke loose. I PB Blastered the hell out of it. Any suggestions??? PS. I dont have a torch.
Thanks

I had the same problem except on the passanger side. I just used a 1 1/18 6 pt and a cheap ratchet with some 36" of square 1" tube as a cheater bar. It eventually broke loose.
You might have to pry the coil from the upper mount to be able to turn it to get a better spot to stick a ratchet in between the spring you lose a lot of torque when using extensions as they act like a torsion bar. Worse case is to cut the coil off, use a nut splitter and replace the coil.

I drop a 1-1/8" deep socket through the hole on top of the coil, then get about a foot and half-ish worth of extensions so it reaches out the top, throw a breaker bar on that sumbitch and let her fly. And a cheater bar helps too.

turbo torch BernzOmatic MAPP Gas , extra heat the peice but around the bolt and take extractor bolt or drill the hole center bolt and re-tread sae
