Somewhat confused. I would imagine that you need it though. That would be a cheap part at the JY or local parts store. Probably better off with it on there anyway.

Talking about the radio noise supressor maybe?

Without it, you radio might sound funny.

Yes i was going to make sure the ground was connected.I am not sure what the thing is if it has to do with the radio at this point i wouldnt care lol. do you see the connector that plugs in . i have 2 wires coming out of it 1 red one green is there a 3rd wire that comes from this. and where dose the red wire coming from this plug to the grey clip from there where dose it go. I cant belive i lost that thing. It seems that it was a a part of that red wire any one got a pic of there coil plug ?

isnt the green a tack signal, and ground..

green is ignition ground and tach from the dizzy and red is hot from the key you need the ground from the block to the coil base (critical sand metal to metal both ends) and the grey connector goes to the noise capacitor from the hot wire and is not necessary unless you get engine static on ur radio.

Thank you all. That is what i was looking for. looks like im heading out to give it a start in a min. I took that vac hose off to get a pic and have reonnected. Thanks for pointing that out. In a little bit when i get it running im gonna take a panaramic 3 pic of my motor compartment for just that ha ha ppl to look and say wheres that part or you need to check that out and hook that up. I bet it will build my constructive critizim taking skills. I have almost purchased all the tools for body work but would like to be able to drive it to work once before i start that.
