I can already tell my torsion bars are going to get in the way of most of what i want to do. But are coilovers going to be compatible with a 5 inch lift (rough country)? Im guessing alot of it would have to be fabricated.

If your fabricating anyway, pretty much anything is possible. Go for it. And post pics!

You’re probably going to have figure out what coilover to use, but I don’t see why that or an ORI wouldn’t work. The only thing that I question is if you’re going places that you need to do all of that work, maybe consider a straight axle swap? Be about the same work but if you’re going hard core off road, it’s better than the IFS. If you’re just going more for looks or If you do a lot of street driving with it, then carry on.

This one's not too difficult:
However far it is that your Rough Country drop-down crossmember brackets drop down, that is how much longer your coilover shocks will need to be (vs. the shocks that normally would be used without drop-down brackets).

This page shows the needed shock lengths as 19.35" with a Superlift kit, and 16.4" without (a ~3" difference). If 3" matches up with what your RC brackets drop down, then that should work on yours as well.

Be aware conversion kits (such as the North Peak one being discussed here likely won't have the necessary extensions for the bump stop relocation brackets (not having proper bump stops can lead to the shocks being damaged). Again, however far down the LCAs are relocated by the brackets is how long the bump stop extensions need to be.

Hope that helps.
