Hey guys, since winter started here in AZ my 88 2.9 has rough idle for a short while (longer if it's colder) and then idles fine once warm.
If I check KOEO when cold I get these codes 18 and 54. If I check it KOEO when warm it checks out fine. KOER checks out fine as well.
I am going to replace the coolant sensor again (I found the plastic top of the new one spins and it shouldn't) but would code 18 have anything to do with this? What did you do to fix it?
Also when driving the truck will shift back and forth between OD and 3rd on a slight incline about 5 or 6 times. This could be (and probably is) because of a shit rebuild but before I take the truck back for this transmission for the 3rd time I want to make sure this isn't causing it.
