hello, just wondering if anybody would be able to help? I have a 01 mazda b3000 DS and my clutch makes a squeaking noise when i press in the the clutch and the pedal seems to stick, the clutch and slave cylinder would change about 10 000kms ago, would dirty fluid or air make this noise?

Thanks alot!!!

Sounds like the throwout bearing.

so take the transmission off and look for what?

From what you describe, I have to agree, it sounds like the throw-out bearing. Unfortunately you will have to pull the trans to replace it. Once you have it out you can check the bearing and see if it spins freely. There should be no binding or rough spots as you turn the bearing. Dirty clutch fluid would cause problems with the slave cylinder, and could cause problems with engaging or disengaging the clutch, but the squealing noise is most likely the throw-out bearing.
