I have a 1986 ford ranger 2.9l, it has the fm145 tranny and i cant seem to find where the bleeder valve is for my clutch, thanks

It's up high on the trans between the trans and the bellhousing, drivers side. It should be 5/16"/8mm.

I have the FM146 and I cannot get fluid to come through the bleeder, what is the cause of this and how would I best bleed it? Taking the slave cylinder out isn't really an option as the trans or motor has to come out.

It's really best to just start a new post in the correct forum and ask your question. Describe the symptoms you have that makes you think you need to bleed it.

I have to ask if you have fluid in the system... in my experience these clutches typically gravity bleed pretty well.
