clunking sound

hello, I have a 05 ranger 4x4 edge automatic trans...while sitting in drive or park i have a clunking sound from the front of the truck about very 20 to 30 seconds. has anyone experienced this problem?

in park? maybe a missfire.

not engine, not a pop..its def mechanical. like somethings poping in and out....i played with the 4x4 selector and it makes it little clunk when i take it in and out of 4x4...this is louder than that.

Its just the fan clutch. Nothin to really worry about.

Wouldn't it be the AC clutch? I've never heard a fan clutch clunk.
