Hello, I own a 1997 Ford Ranger 4 cylinder 2wd manual. Recently when I turn I hear an odd Clunk noise that seems to be coming from under my feet. Does anybody know what could be wrong? Thank you.

Maybe something loose under your feet? How's your alignment? Perhaps your radius arm bushings are shot? See http://imgur.com/a/BkzJc It could also be ball joints, sway-bar links, steering slop, and so on. IOW, anything attached to your front axle. Under your feet is a fuel filter that's clipped to the frame, but maybe it's loose? Have you looked underneath?

My alignment is off but not by much at all. Someone also mentioned that my ball joints could be bad as well. I'll slide under the truck when it isn't raining and check those out, it mentioned it does it over bumps in that link and it's the same story for my truck.
