When I tinted my tails, it was dirt cheap. 12 dollar can of VHT Niteshade. Got it at canadian tire here up north. Tape up your tails, tape up your reverse lights if you want those to stay clear, and i would suggest it. It only took me about three light passes at about 8-10 inches away. It's just like spraying any other rattle can.

Or another one you can do, depending on your idea of cheap, is throw a Thrust Welded muffler on there. It will be loud, but the muffler only cost me 59 canadian at a local parts place. I think summit has them for like 40 bucks or something, around 59 probably with next day if your order it asap. I love mine and had fun with it, teaching my cousin how to do basic stuff.
