Cheap and cool looking mods

hitch storage so you or anyone else wont smack the hell out of there leg as they walk behind the truck. I drilled a 5/8 hole thru the cross tube that extends beyond the frame mount flange to allow for storage when the receiver isn't being used.

1 that makes me chuckle a little. Nice idea. Just looks strange.
2 I like the hitch as "protection" if someone is to rear end me or get to close in parking lots.

Other than that, it's a great idea. Sure beats it rattling around or laying in the bed not locked when you live around Memphis.

My new favorite cheap mod is Duplicolor vinyl paint. I've redone two trucks armrests in black and they look amazing, did two complete coats and it is very durable. Then turned around and shot one of those trucks carpets black and touched up a vinyl cab roof. I love that stuff!

Yeh I under stand the protection ,but I will be making a very stout 4x8 rectangular tubing w/3/8 thick wall. 4" tall & 8" deep. & it will be atteched to frame using 3/8 2x6 I-beam material

Thanks for the ideas guys! Im gonna spray paint my cup holder and a few parts in the interior today.
