Hello, thanks in advance for your help. :shok: I recently purchased a magnaflow catalytic converter part#23387 from Oreilly's. I also bought the walker intermediate pipe #44923 and am attaching it to a dynomax exhaust system DYN17464. The problem I'm running in to is the connection between the cat and the intermediate pipe. The catalytic converter came with an O gasket and when I look online I am supposed to use a spring bolt kit to allow it motion and keep a seal. So I purchased the spring bolt kit 36129. However the spring bolts don't fit into the intermediate pipe or the catalytic converter. The cats holes are too small. Now the hangers for the exhaust system seem to be able to move as they dangle from under the truck. Am I supposed to just bolt it together with ROL gasket (part # EG24913) (the kind that looks fixed- not an O but the same shape as the connecting pipe bolt holes and all?) and just bolt them firmly against each other unable to flex? otherwise I am having real difficulty finding the right size spring bolts. What should I do?
