I have an 88 4x4. Previous owner replaced auto hubs with jeep lockouts. Just replaced a bad wheel bearing and putting truck back together. The small thrust bearing that goes between the two washers on the axleshaft before the c clip is bad. Its really thin, probably less than 1/8" thick. Local Napa valley thought they ordered it but what they got was smaller diameter and shaped more like a wide wedding band. What I need is like a 50 cent piece. Anyway, can't find one anywhere. Anyone know where to get them?

I checked in the tech section and the piece I think you're looking for is #61 on page three of the pdf for d-28's.

It is called a "bearing - needle thrust". I would go to a driveline shop or a bearing wholesaler if the auto-parts places can't get what you need. If you can take the old one they can measure it.

Yep item 61 on there would be my guess too.

I came across a kit, I think a spindle washer kit that included that recently when I was doing some digging for a replacement spindle. It was listed as a "others who bought this also bought". I don't recall where I saw it tho. It had a good picture of all the parts in the kit.
