cant decide on wat way to lift my ranger.

F150 springs and exploder leaves with 2 inch drop shackles. THis will lift you front and rear about 2 inches, then do a 2 inch body lift with welded washers and you have a total of 4 inches. It will cost you less than 60 bux. roughly.

I've misunderstood what you are trying to say here. Lets get this cleared up, I want to sleep easy tonight.

Are you saying "do a 2" body lift AND 2" steel washer mod from the tech library (for underneath the coils)"???

Or are you saying MAKE a 2" body lift out of some other convention (welding of steel washers to extend the height of the body mounts)???

BTW I assume most people don't know how to weld unless they explicitly say so somewhere in the thread, so I stray away from suggesting to weld anything to anyone who might not have that ability. Just a safety precaution, I've see way too much hack fab work in recent years, posted up and if I saw that crap on the road I'd let them pass by while I "stop for a coffee".

And yes I am not afraid to post up what little knowledge I may have. Its the least I can do to pass-on some info to another for their benefit.

And also I have nothing against using/doing the steel washer mod, F150 coils, or any other simple, cheap bolt on upgrade for an RBV of junkyard parts from other vehicles. I myself have used steel washers in the past. Nothing wrong with cheap.

i got 235 75 15s on the truck now that rub when i turn or hit a bump, i want to go 4 inches and 33's when im done , money is tight . i found on suspensionconnection.com 3 inch body lift for $108 and on summitracing.com superlift springs coil spring for $ 138. i know on a body lift the kit comes with everything i need , now if i went with the other route wat else would i need? i know ill need shocks anything else? im sorry if im makin it worst .

Drop brackets up front, and probably drop shackles AND blocks for the rear.

Extended brake hoses, drop axle pivots and pitman arm brackets of the springs are 2+ inches, camber bushings. If your putting coils on the fron you'll need blocks or AAL in the back.
I dont know why anyone would buy "lift coils" though. There are plenty od much cheaper coils that can be used..
