1993 Ford ranger? What engine? Most engines you can pull the camshaft if you take the grille and the radiator out and move the A/C condenser out of the way. Whatever it takes to give you room.

Unusual that the camshaft did the damage. Usually the oil pump locks up, and that damages the cam gear and or the distributor gear. Most of these engines, the bottom of the distributor drives the oil pump.

Thanks for respond.. thats why its weird looks like 2 gears overheats (damage] and doest have oil flowing into it... what u think should i do? Where should i start ? Oil pump? ... ok ill take the advice removing the radiator and ac and so fort

How many miles are on this engine and what engine is it?

before you do much, put a long extension down that hole with a socket to drive the oil pump, turn it with a drill.
oil should flow thru the lifter holes. if the lifters are still in oil should build pressure.
does the engine turn over by hand? take the spark plugs out.
any clunking while turning it over? rock the crank back 'n forth.

how did it die?
did you drive it with the oil light on? how far?

to answer your first question, the camshaft is about 16-1/2" to 17"
if you can get that much room from the block face it should come out.
