Hey I’m about to replace my camshaft on my 4X4 3.0 99 ranger and I have to ask can what all do I have to remove to replace the camshaft?

still in the vehicle? or on a stand?
will you be replacing the cam bearings too?

basically, it's easier to state what does not have to come off.
when you get down to the head bolts ,, stop. don't touch the exhaust manifolds either.

upper & lower intake comes off, valve covers, rockers loosened enough to remove pushrods, lifters, front engine cover, timing chain,
cam synchronizer.
the EGR tube between the driver exhaust manifold and intake can be a genuine pain-in-the-rusted-rear type of issue.
