Calling All Southeast Members

This a call to arms, err, um, I meant, a call to steering wheels, um drivers, um wheelers, crawlers - EVERYONE.

The TRS 10 Year Anniversary is rapidly approaching - since all of you in Eastern Tenn are the closest (this includes surrounding states) - are you going to attend the event? I am driving from Texas, one member is driving from California.
There is plenty more information in the Anniversary Thread, but I am trying to help Jim get more people registered. Now is the time to make that commitment and get the time off. If you live close by come on out and participate - the more attending the better.

There are 46 members in Tenn and the surrounding states. I know nitrofan is now registered - come on guys/gals - come show your support for TRS and help make this a reality. There is talk of killing it if not enough support is shown. . . .

I would love to be able to go Hazmat, but I am in hard times right now.

I would definitely be there if I had the funds, but right now, everyday is a struggle. Props go out to all who are making the long haul to get there!

I agree with b2. Im jobless, almost flat broke, and I wont even have enough money in gas to get there. Sry hazmat, but I got to skip this one. Will they have a 15 year aniversary?

Definitely want to make it there but low funds plus summer classes are getting in the way.

LOL - I totally understand and thank you for replying. Trying to stoke the fires and get some registration. I think that is the case for most members and it may be the downfall of the event.

Don't know what I'll be driving, or where I'll be staying, but I'll be there. Registration should be completed in the next day or two.

Thanks for letting me know about that but I'm really wanting to stay closer to Pigeon Forge. Maybe in Sevierville or Gatlinburg. I'm going to be there from the 8th possibly through to the 13th. Since July 13th is my B-day I decided to take it off work as well, so I may just make it a full weekend in Tennessee. Since I'll be up there the whole time I may make a trip over to Cherokee to visit my aunt, so I'd rather stick to the more central location.

If I get lucky I may even have a guest coming with me. If so I'm sure she would like a little more privacy than 3 guys and 2 bunk beds in a cabin can give.

Cool - I hear ya. I am staying all week if it stays on. My Anniversary is the 7th (7-7-07) and we will be in Gatlinburg all week.
Hopefully we'll see you there . . .
