C-Clip Eliminator Noise

Does anyone else have a problem with the external c-clip eliminator making noise? Everytime my suspension travels it makes a crunchy sound...and yes its the eco spring and yes I'm sure the noise is the spring. I'm really thinking I'm gonna just put the c-clip back in if I have to hear that crappy sound everyday just to make it easy to pull the shaft...its just not worth it

how long has it been in there? maybe the spring needs to wear in a little bit.

i just finished putting mine on, it's was too much of a bitch to get that spring on, i used the echo as well

id rather put up with the noise rather than having to diasseble the diff just to get the shaft out. have you tried spraying the spring and shaft down with lithium grease or something similar?

Its been in for over a year and has gotten louder over time...I've cleaned and greased it with no luck....I'm gonna try a new spring and see if that fixes it, maybe the one I have is too tight on the shaft...after all its for a weed eater! lol

are gettin any wear on the shaft itself? grinding noises imply metal being removed, maybe you can figure out why it is grinding and then find a solution

and yeah, you could always get a new one, i think i paid $2.50 for mine, lol
