Finally broke a axleshaft on my D28 !! And it will be my last. This is the motivation I need to actually install my D35/8.8 axles.

This is the hole I was in. Those are my ruts and had to make a hard right turn, hence the broken rt axleshaft.

The Toyota pulled me out before trying it him self. Everyone had to winch themselves or be winched out.

After I got pulled free and near the bottom of a small hill, there is a small washout where my truck slid into. LT rear tire hanging in the hole and RT rear fully stuffed. Truck was actually resting on the rear bumper. Had to use my new winch to get out !! No pic's of that though.

I love doing this and going here

Looks like a fun hole. Pics of the busted shaft?

A 35 would have gone through that no problem, so get that bad boy swapped in!

Wasn't going to post pic's because it's just a D28 axle but due to popular demand !! ( LOL ).....................

Oh yeah, found the u-joint caps wedged between the knuckle near the lower ball joint and beam. Couldn't turn right very well and had to dig out the mud and caps to restore the steering !

i cant even count the number of times i've seen that

Looks like fun man. I did the same thing to my D28.

(I think that Toy needs some interco's. or at least some more serious meats.)

Yes he does and he knows it !! As you can see, those things clog up pretty good. I stand by my Pro-comp Extreme's.

We were near Rocky Mountain House. We were up by Whitecourt a few months ago and a bunch are going to ACE near Grand Cache in August. I won't be there but we should get together sometime.

We're going to Pembina Forks on Sept long weekend.

That is some beautiful country. Looks like an awesome wheeling spot. Sorry about your D28, but busted axles are always a good excuse to upgrade!

There are many, many trails in the area. And all of them are on Crown Land and %100 legal for offroading.
