I have a 89 BroncoII that wont start its getting fuel and getting spark but from there im lost

Is it getting fuel and spark at the same time?

Meaning, is the Timing correct? Does it have compression?

Any history on the BII?

Check the timing. Mine did the same thing, but it was out of time.

timing was the first thing i thought. but i was driving down the road yesterday and it just shut off
no power loss just nut wanting to start

So the plugs themselves are sparking, and they are wet from fuel if you were to pull them out?

Will it fire with starting fluid?

I was driving mine too when it did it. I stopped at my house for 10 minutes and it wouldn't start when I came back out.

Check your timing. Also, try spraying some starter fluid into the throttle body. If it fires, then you have spark. Remove the fuel line off the fuel rail and turn the key on and see if it is pumping fuel to the rail. Then test it with the schrader valve.

If you have fuel and spark, they are not happening at the same time so your timing is off.
