Bronco vs Ranger center console?

Whats the difference? I put my bronco console in my ranger and there is a gap between the carpet and the console. Is the ranger one flat on the bottom? Thanks Brandon B.

Not sure but I tried to swap in the seats and center console from a '94 Ex to a '98 Ranger and guess what they didn't fit without mods.

I would have thought they were a direct swap!?!?!?!
