My rem. 700 just finished drying after painting, when the action and barrel fell and landed on the trigger.lt broke the blade in half.l have turned my shop upside down and end to end looking for the other half, and cannot find it.l dont know what to do, l cant afford a trigger pack anytime soon.lve considered welding a piece of steel onto the exhisting half of the trigger blade to get me by till l have the money.Does that sound like a bad idea? This really sucks, l put alot of work into this rifle and now this.

Well being many people upgrade the guns there should be a good bit of stock parts around for decent prices.

If you can weld it and keep the lines and how it works proper that shouldn't be a issue I would think.

Ya, l didnt think it would be a problem.lts just the thought of welding on a fairly new rifle l guess. One day l may upgrade the trigger, if l dont like the feel of the blade. The trigger its self is great, no need to replace it really. Thanks for the reply, atleast l know l havent completely lost it, l do stupid things sometimes
