Thanks guys. The body was stripped down to bare metal. Every nut and bolt was off. I've spent the last 5 months working on this thing.
Engine has 9.2 compression ratio so we can run street gas. We could have gotten much more HP with more compression. 2 fours with a hydraulic cam since we intended to run at 5,600 RPMs. 525 cubic inch with a stock Ford stroker crank. But the BIG number to me was that although we only hit 600 HP, the torque came in at 620! I love when a gas engine has more torque than HP.
Hope to drop the engine in the car before the first of the years and have this thing street ready by Feb or March.
This thing looks pretty cool being hauled around in the back of my '91 Ranger 4x4.
