2006 Sport 3.0 2wd. Heat not working and AC only works on Max setting. Blower fan working fine. Vent knob directs air to where you set it fine. Suspected Blend Door Actuator and removed unit still connected to electric leads, when I turned the Air Temp Control knob, no movement. Purchased a replacement BDA, connected it to leads, also no movement. Tried theory of re-calibrating it by disconnecting positive terminal on battery, waiting 1 min, powering on console for 4 min w/o starting, turning off for a min, then starting motor. Tried this with both units. Nothing. Is the BDA not getting power or signal from switch? Not sure where to go from here. Could this have all come about as a result of my replacing a dead battery?

I have a similar issue, except mine would only blow on high after about 15 minutes of driving. The most likely culprit is the head control unit...

SVT

Well its not from replacing the battery. I agree with SVT, at this point the control head is the most likely culprit.
