biggest tires on stock rims

I have a 96 ranger 2wd and I want to put the biggest tires possible on the stock rims any body have clue where to start

It took me a while to figure out on my own..... There is a search button in the dark blue header bar, third button from the right. There is also a tech section called the tech library near the top in a lighter blue bar third button from the left. Another good place to look is in the magazine archives, the button right beside the tech section.

I want to know the answer as well, i searched and looked. I never really got a good answer. I have seen a few people with 33x12.5 tires on the stock deerhoff rims. So i can guess that 35x12.5 tires would be okay.

ok so I did a little more digging and now i found a lot of people that put 10.5 wide tires on stock rims. to stang man do you have any pics of those rangers you were talking about?

Stock wheels are 15x7. I wouldnt run anything more than a 31x10.50x15 on them. 15x8 is ideal for 33x10x50x15 up to a 35x12.50x15 (which is the setup I'm running)

I have 31x10.5x15 Falken's on my stock deerhoof rims. My sig picture shows the truck in 265's, which is the same size. I will see if I can get a recent pic uploaded for you

Here are a few pics of my Ranger earning its keep earlier this summer. These are the falken 31" tires shown under load. (also the event that finally killed my spring hangers...)

The last two should give you some idea of the width of the tires.
