you wouldn't happen to know the weight difference between the ssr and the tsl radial in a 31 inch do you? i have ssr's on my pickup and i love them to death, they just seam heavy as all hell...

ssr 31's are 57lbs i think and TSL radial 46 lbs
but keep in mind you getting more tire with the SSR .. there acutaly a 31.5" vs 30.7" tsl radial


the tsl is 31x9.5x15 vs ssr's 31x10.5x15


if it was me i would go ssr
better wet handling
and more tire for your money

After looking through all the reviews and brands... for a 31x10.5...

Goodyear Wrangler Duratrac. Since I'm a 90% DD, I wanted a good bit of rubber on the road, but not too much. Check them out. They are M+S rated, with the mountain snowflake. So far I've only driven them on pavement, horribly wet pavement (with and w/o a locker, no hydroplaning), sand, mud, and gravel. Gravel likes to stick inbetween the blocks but nothing I can't fix with a little bit of metal. They dig mud like a shovel, and shoot the sand great. Dry pavement is pretty good performance for an offroad tire. Drove almost 200 miles today at 75mph on the PA turnpike, wasn't too loud. If I had the windows up and AC on it'd be a non-issue. Were whisper quiet when I got them, but as the reviews said, after 2k they will start making noise.

Overall, I'm very impressed with their performance and would buy them again. Especially for a 90% DD.

Never used any Interco tires, but everyone I know who has, has never complained about them. Except that they are (typically) a bias tire...

i like duratracs a lot
but i find them extremely overpriced... around here anyways
and his truck is not his DD it's a trail truck

you could probably easily fit some 32x10.5x15 TSL radial
it's not a common size you see to often
but would be sweet

how do the duratracs perform in the snow
my cousin's looking at a set right now some 33's
on a brand new Toyota Tacoma TRD Off Road package with rear diff lock
lucky little BAS**** lol hahahha i wish our rangers had those options lol

but yeah back to the point
how are then in the snow and ice?

LOVE LOVE the Duratracs in the snow. My brother got a set for his YJ in the 33" flavor. They do amazingly well in snow.
