Best sound system for the best price?

Can't go wrong with Pioneer in car audio.

Yeah you can. If you want good Pioneers you have to pay up. That being said, their amps and head units are usually very good.

personally I prefer Pioneer headunits, but not anything wal-mart sells. I have the MVH-8300BT (I think that's it..., but it was $220ish).
any non-walmart carried Pioneer item will probably be good stuff. I like Memphis speakers and Kicker subs. Right now I'm using a Kenwood 4 channel amp and HATE it.. my Kicker 750.1 class D amp works awesome tho.

I've never been satisfied with anything Pioneer from Wal-Mart... I've helped install my share of it to. If you just want a slight upgrade from stock, go for it... otherwise remember, you get what you pay for.

4.0 walmart is stepping up over here they just became a licensed dealer for all kicker products and they have the comps in stock and cvs plus the amp u said

Here is the run down on my setup. I listen to everything except country.

Head unit: Sony XAV64BT
Front doors: Kicker 6x8 (going to be replaced with SunDown 6.5 components)
Rear: American Bass 6x8
Amp: Kicker ZX500.1 (going to be replaced with a Sundown 1500D)
Subs: (2) SunDown SA 8'S

I am putting down 134.8 db. You get what you pay for. Do it right the first time so you do not have to do it again.

If you look further ahead I said:

You won't go wrong using a Pioneer deck and speakers. Just don't get the Walmart versions.

Whatever happened to the days of a Sanyo indash or Pioneer KP500 underdash autoreverse cassette deck, IDI Shotgun 20 watt amp, and a pair of Jensen Tri-ax 6X9s? Ahhh for the simpler times. Don't Fear the Reaper BOC

My Dad still has an 8-track under dash kicking around.

Blue Oyster Cult. Lol...classic

Heres what id do in your situation get some, tactile transducers put one under each seats youll need about 60 watts going to those puppies. Get some nice tweets and some 6x9s, ive always had a idear of putting speakers boxes up top by the rear a pillar and b pillar on the roof. The amp for your normal speakers will vary depending on the speakers you get and how much youre willing to spend, if youre looking for top of the line car audio go with rockford fosgate, they are THE best brand there is when it comes to car audio but it will break the bank, otherwise look for MTX products they are medium high quality and very inexpensive for how well they perform. Also your 6x9s will put out bass about all that youll need from what i can tell. Note that you can not run power to the tactile transducers and speakers from the same amp or youll **** things up, youll need 2 amps but a 60 watt amp will be very cheap.

brownie mobile sorry to break it to u but fosgate isnt close to top of the line, they use to be good but they arent as great as they once were thats y everywhere i go where i live sells their subs and speakers for buy 1 get 1 free no matter what sub or speaker it is from them

I am a fan of SunDown.
