The other day I was driving around and I heard this god awful squeeling noise. Speed related and went away when I stopped. It came back 2 or three times but always went away. I figured I seized a bearing or something so I bought all new bearings and seals and went to town. When I took everything apart there was a clear wear make where the inner bearing was spinning. It actually wore a tiny little depression into the spindle but put everything back together hoping for the best. Today I heard the same noise, same symptoms, everything. Think I messed up my spindle? Or is there something else I'm missing

If you didn't pack the bearings, you ruined the new ones. If you did pack the bearing, you need a new spindle.

On another note, never over torque your bearing nut. It ruins bearing no matter what else you do. I learned by doing.

Had the same thing happen to me on my Explorer. I fixed mine, then all the sudden it made racket again. I found that the Valucraft bearings I had bought took a dump already. So, now I buy Timken only.

Did you put low budget bearings in it?

By "wore a mark" are you sure that you aren't looking at the race? Did you replace the race?

Yes I packed the bearings. They were the best bearings advanced had because I know how easy rangers can go through them with bigger tires and low back spacing. Moog I believe. And yes I replaced the race. I never put new bearings on an old race. The wear mark was on the spindle itself

Also. No I did not over torque them. My dad showed me how to tighten it by hand and that's how I've done it ever since

I also had a wear mark on a spindle once. It's probably not recommended, but I just rotated the spindle to position the wear mark at the side. The noise went away. I searched high and low for new one, and couldn't find it so I improvised. You won't be able to do this with an ABS spindle though - unless you put another notch in it, of course.

well the wear mark goes all the way around so rotating won't do anything

ok so im just going to buy a new spindle. the cheapest place to buy new that i found was bronco graveyard. the one that looks like mine however says 90-92 1/2. the one with abs says 93-94 1/2. to my knowledge my truck doesnt have front abs. so which do i pick?

Jim has them advertised cheaper. And the ABS spindle will work on either, as the only difference is the notch.
