The above is exactly how it is listed on the axle tag. It comes off a 97 Ranger. I beleive it's a 3.73 8.8 . looking for confirmation TIA

If it was a Limited Slip, it would be 3L73, 4L10 etc. Your tag shows it to be an Open Differential, 8.8 Ring Gear.

Just a personal note, my new Ranger had no tag on the axle cover. Don't know if that is a Ford standard practice now. Can anyone answer this?
