Ok so as some may know I got an explorer 8.8" with L/S and 3.73's that I plan on putting under my truck, But the problem is I can remove the brackets for the axle perches but my dad tells me the welder we have probably won't be able to make the proper welds and I am afraid of miss aligning the perchs or warping the tube.
So I can either find a good shop to do it or find a knowledgable guy to do it.
But then I read this...

there are some brackets or tabs that you put on the axles other side and it goes from SOA to SUA. I am thinking it would then theoretically work the otherway right?
If you guys think it would work and not be too big of a problem then awesome! If not I will go and get it profesionally done, but cheaper is better, I am a college student.
Note: this vehicle sees very little hard core off roading, its my Daily driver so the most I take it on is a little mud pit or the beach and snow.
