Hey all,
Does anyone know, or have an opinion as to weather an ARB bumper off of a '98 Isuzu Trooper might be able to make fit my 2002 Ranger? There's one for sale locally and I'd be interested if i could make it fit. I know folks have fab'ed them on from Tacomas....

Thanks!

My favorite quote. "A good mechanic could make it work"

And my SECOND favorite quote is "Ya cant fix stupid, even with duct tape"

My suggestion is to get up off the computer, grab a tape measure, and find out.

anythings possable with a a cut off wheel, cutting torch & welder. My 94 ranger has the front end on it from a 2003 & the front bumper being custom built for a Bronco II, that I got off of craigslist I was able to make fit my set up with very little fabrication.

If you can weld, you can make anything work, Bro. Get off your a** and figure it out yourself......................

there's a trooper of that same vintage, with an arb on it in a junkyard near me, it looks like it's possible but it might look a little odd.

Wow, nice thread. I had questions about ARB for a Ranger, I guess I'll go to Explorer Forum...

lol c'mon guys you can't be pissing off premium members haha

Most likely they aren't being nice because one you might not have searched or no one currently knows. Will it fit easily? Probably not, with modifications and fabrication...definitely. Will it look good? who cares as long as you like it **** it lol.

some guys are jerks.
some guys should search, like you do. Good job. :icon_thumby:

any non specific bumper will probably not just bolt up. Little fab skills and you can make it work. usually.

I was looking at a new Fortuner outside the harware store the other day with an ARB on it. Looked really nice. I liked a couple of the features so I cell phone snapped a couple pics for when I make my own. But like was said before get it and then break out the fire hatchet and the stick welder and make it fit. That's what truck enthusiasts do.

you know what i like most about this thread? "fire hatchet".....that's a good one panama

Hmmm, I got this feeling that Mr. Ed won't be coming back...Oh! Wibur...

LOL
