Wondering if snyones done a square to round headlight conversion on a 1st gen Ranger? Pics would be sweet as well.

Look up Copykat. He is no longer on site but he did a conversion in his b-2.

I had seen that one on the BII. Was hoping others might have done others.

There's still an active member here that has a BII with round headlights.. Maybe two active members actually..

I just can't remember their user names.

deathbypsi and petesponies have done this...

I did. I used 73-77 F150 headlight buckets. FYI round headlights are taller than the rectangular ones so you have to notch out your grille to fit them.

Slick lil truck there Shran

Shran has all the coolest stuff

Ha! Thanks. Just takes time, money and complete dedication to eradicating your personal life! ?

Shran one must first have a life(speaking of myself). Thanks for the heads up. I thought it might be that easy, already have the buckets. Are you changing just the calm shell or the entire assembly? May do that tomorrow night. I got the shortbed for the chop Sunday. Went to the JY today, got an uncut wood grain dash and the correct stereo mount not the hack the PO did on the dash hence the new one. And the side pillar trim(got lta paint match as there were only 2 pre 89s in there. Will probably got back this week end. Need more tools than what I brought today. Found a Dodge D50 or whatever with a cool an straight chrome bumper, thats simikar to the 85 and below stock Ford rear contour bumper so it should match after I make new brackets and install a hitch. Damn sites says my pics are too big to post.

nice looking box. Wish they were that clean up here.

I used the whole F150 assembly - springs, bucket, adjusters, etc plus the round bulb.

Got it on its first hauling job to the JY to see what we can transplant. Thx starting to get harder fonding the older stuff. Sweet got all the stuff to do kt and new LEDs ?

So you might want to consider getting a grill from a 76-80's Ramcharger or powerwagon grill. You can cut the ends off for the round headlights that was my plan to match it up. I think they are close to the to the height and width of my 90.

If you need a set of round high and low beam adjustable buckets, send me a PM. I have a set from a 1963 Chrysler Imperial that I am never going to use.
