Anyone Here from the Bay Area?

Hey Everyone - Happy to join the club!

Just picked up a '91 Ranger: RWD, 2.3L, 5-speed earlier this week and saw the forum. Engine is a scrap so I just picked up a 302 v8 from a '95 mustang per the technical sheets here on TRS so I'll have a lot of questions as I get going.

Just wanted to say thanks to everyone who made this forum the trove of info that it is and I hope to contribute soon!

Anyone here in the SF Bay Area? would love to get more into the ranger car scene if there is.

Hi Chris and welcome to TRS~!

you will probably find quite a few members from your area. There is a section for members by location...Regional Map or something like that...they even have one for Canada...of all places...

I'm sure if you post in that section or even just view it you will find members around you...but sometimes members don't always look in that section so doesn't hurt to ask in other places...

You can also add your location to your profile...just click on the UserCP line near the top of the website and select the section you want to edit...like your details...and add as much information as you feel comfortable with divulging.

Oh, and there is also an engine swap section...many have done the 5.0 swap...

Also a new member, I'm in the east bay, Dublin/Pleasanton area. I'm in Hawaii for work until January though. Can't say I'm a part of any truck groups or the local scene, just friends building trucks and putting them to use out in the boonies!
