Anyone from Valdosta GA area?

Been planning a move out of the northwest for a bit and was thinking about the south eastern part of Georgia ...
Any members down there that have any insight on what to expect?
I plan on visiting before the move obviously, but was just wondering how people liked it down south?

I'm east of Atlanta, out Athens way and if you are thinking Valdosta, I'd say look at Savannah area. Valdosta might be a lil too country for ya'll,lol and savannah is a gorgeous city and has everything goin on..
