I am thinking of getting a set of DC Crushers, anyone ever run a set?

Also I am kind of debating on what size to get. Does anyone know what size tire I can run on an 08 FX4 stock, as is, no mods and what I can run after cranking the Torsion bar 2" or so. I really want to go with a set of 265X75R16E. National Tire and wheel covers that to about a 32x10.50. Is that to big?

Any info or advice is appreciated. Thanks. -J

Thanks man, I apreciate it. I really like that website. It kind of changed my opinion on the tires although they are still in the running. I really like them, but I am also looking at the Cooper STT's and the Mickey T MTZ's now. We'll see, though.

Coopers are a great choice. Myself, I run the ProComp Xtreme MT's and in my opinion, they are better than the reviews listed. Design wise, they are similar to the coopers. As for price, I would price them out. If you can wait (as I did) for fall, ProComp USUALLY has a three for the price of four sale.
I'm glad you enjoyed looking at that review site. I do hope it helps.

I have to agree. I think they work better in the mud than what they're rating them for. I agree with the other ratings though ( street, snow, trail ):icon_thumby:

Pro-Comp!

Hey, I hadn't even really considered pro-comp. I really like the looks of them. So... how would you rate them on the road? The site has them at a 3 and the review talks about them being pretty decent on the road too. I think I may have changed my mind again. Thanks.

if you are looking at the Cooper Discover STT's i wouldn't recommend them for ice or snow. the knobs are great over rock and in the mud, but the knobby style lug being spaced like it is doesn't make them a very good snow tire or ice for that matter. just my 0.02

You ask... here's my answer. Personally, I have nothing bad to say about them. I have about 30k on them and they are wearing FANTASTIC! I most likely have about another 60k left on them. Road manners are great and noise is quite tolerable. Winter driving on road is great too. Wet roads aren't even worth breaking a sweat over. All in all, for road driving, I'm quite pleased and will purchase another set in the future.. only larger than a 31 X 10.50. As for off road I have nothing bad to say what so ever. They work great!
If I was to rate them on a scale of one to ten, ten being the all out tire to beat all tires and one being the ultimate suck ass tire, I would say they are in the 8.5 to 9 range.

Ever since i bought my ranger (only a year ago) i have had cooper stts on them. I love they way they are in the mud, snow and all around driving. obviously they aren't really great for highway use. however i have gotten used to the noise. They are very nice for the price. although i payed way way less than i should have (take offs). anyways if you want to go with the best bang for your buck the stts are the best. they are also very popular around where i live (mid eastern wisconsin). They are great in the winter.

a buddy of mine is running 33x10.5 with no rubbing on his stock 08 fx4

I'm running them. 31x10.50R15's, stock size. I like em so far, lot of road noise though. I don't know if the 32s would rub on your truck since the new ones sit lower than my 06, my 31s rub slightly in the rear at full tuck.
Here's how they look on my truck:
