So here in Ohio its been raining for what seems like a week straight lol. Roads are flooded over, creeks are over flowing, socks are wet. So I took a picture of "donut alley" which is a gravel road intersection big enough for a couple of semis to make a U-turn in the intersection that flooded over. Thought about driving through it when I realized I was 1/4 of the way across and the water was almost up to the bottom of my door. So I backed up took some pics and left, then when I was leaving someone spray painted on the road "no whining" then about 40 feet up the road they spray painted "this is not a whine tour" lol. Just thought the flooded road was interesting and the road was just funny and unexpected lol.

Not like that but I have standing water in deer hoofprints below the terrace in my bean field. In friggin November. And we are supposed to get an inch of rain this weekend. :annoyed:

Since labor day on we have gotten a lot of rain.

For us that was May through September. Whole town flash flooded a few weeks ago. It's finally over, I think.

I almost wrecked on the way home from work tonight. I was gawking at the river and lake system in the lot of the drive-in and hit a huge puddle on the road.

Also, we have ducks and bettas in the corn.

Not quite that bad here in southern MI. We have gotten shitloads of rain but theres no worthwhile flooding anywhere.

Come spring though ill be mountin pontoons on rusty 2.0. Oh, and a evinrude outboard

If I were you I would keep a few pairs of sunglasses on the dash in case the sun comes out.

I drove thru water once in my 96 F150 4x4 that was deep enough to come in the bottom of the door and make my duals burble (On an inline 6:thefinger: ), i had 3/4ton springs on the back so it sat pretty high.

I went around the road closed sign (stupid i know) on the left side of the road. By the time i got to the other side my ass end started to be sideways and i was over almost in the right hand ditch.

Dont drown, turn around.

Just rig up some pallets that can mount to the rear wheels, make a paddle-boat of it.

Weld some angle iron to tireless rims with some thick plate steel bolted to the angle?

You may be onto something.

The pallets are just for motorvation, you still need the tires for flotation.

This kinda stuff is yet another reason I'll be glad to have the F-100 back on the road. Sucks being limited to a car.

I see what you did ther:icon_thumby:

I like sunglasses. I hate sunlight in my eyes when driving. I am the only one who drives my truck so I can leave my shades on the dash and not worry about someone running off with them. I leave the extras up there because they don't get scratched or broken. I figured someone would have mentioned something about my little Bigfoot truck on the dash lol.

I did notice it. Assumed it was junior's

I didn't look that close. A white patch right there is just automatically an inspection sticker to me.
