Any tips in buying a USED Ranger? All I'm finding is white standard cab 2WD's!

I searched the local market and this is what I found:

Most of the 2wd trucks I'm seeing is painted white and standard cabs.

Any other paint color and it's ALL 4wd with premium trim packages.

I'm looking for a "2008'ish" Ford Ranger ext cab 2 wd, any color BUT white, and I'm finding them VERY hard to find!

There was one at the used dealership, it was white, ext cab, 2wd and the tow package, he wanted $7k for it. Unfortunately it got sold before I got to it.

I've found a few s-10's but it seems there isn't much of a selection of compact pickup trucks.

I was looking on Kijiji recently and saw at least 3 grey FX4s 2008 for sale...maybe white is popular where you are...warmer places like white...it reflects heat...Canadians like dark colours to absorb heat...

But it doesn't explain the pink Ranger I saw the other day...

White 2wd Standard cab Rangers are (were) very common fleet vehicles. Hell, the very last north american ford went to Orkin - and its white!

you might have to expand your search radius a bit further.
