looks like to me mabe its so small but looks like the pad sliped or was put on wrong.

yeah the retaining clip on the back of the pad sheered off and the pad slipped out of the caliper. i lost my breaking. luckily i was close to my house.

There are a couple of pegs on the pad that fit into a hole in the caliper, the clip just applies pressure to keep the pegs in the holes. I don't see how it could come out if it was inserted correctly in the first place. Might want to check the holes in the caliper, they might be dameged.

i put in some new ones and i dont have a problem. and i did check them and there still square. when i put them in i made sure it was flat on the caliper. so i dont know
