Adding power to my '11 2.3 in CA

So, there is a supercharger kit for this engine when it's used in a Miata. It was originally designed by Cosworth. I'm pretty sure Flyin Miata owns the rights to it now. It will bolt to the cylinder head. After that, I have no idea what fitment issues you'd run into. Steering shaft or driver's side frame rail come to mind, as potential obstacles, but I really don't know. IF you're willing to be the Guinea pig and solve issues that come up, then it could be an option for you.

But, by the time you spend the money for the supercharger, you could easily have another vehicle instead. A manual Ranger, or something else that tickles your fancy.

I have heard the 2.3 with auto was a bummer, but mine works great. Long trip (450 miles) 27.5 mpg, AC on running in the NASCAR lane with the big boys.

Thanks for the info. Unfortunately I'm not handy enough to be the guinea pig that can solve issues that arise, nor am I rich enough.

I just got a motorcycle so I'll get my need for speed out of it instead of the Ranger.
