Being old school I like to pump em when and if I need to, however, the wife thinks this is not good lol. What is on are the "ABS" light and the shoes in a drum picture. Shoes, rotors, pads and sliders are all new in the spring so this must be an electrical issue I gather. Any ideas where to begin the trouble shoot please and thanks?

If the ABS light and the red brake light (I guess that is what you mean by "shoes in a drum light") are both on it thinks the brake fluid is low.

Thanks. Yes it is the red "Brake" light along with "ABS" together. Having checked the level it is filled enough, however, I must have left the cap loose from the brake job in the spring when I relieved the back presure so as to compress the callipers in order to recieve new rotors and pads.

Tightened the cap up this morn and drove through out the day several times and the indicator light remain on, is there a reset procedure I should be observing?

No, it is just a simple open/closed circuit. If you left the cap off an excessive amount of water could have been absorbed and it is causing the fluid to be conductive.

It could also just be the float is screwed up. Sometimes they get stuck at the bottom and poking them with a pick gets them floating again.

Unplug the sensor and see if the light goes out.
