A4LD swap m50d

Hi guys, a A4LD slip yoke dosen't fit in the m50d tranny?

And the manual tranny is +/- 4 inch shorter than the A4LD.

Witch slip yoke i need to replace mine, 88@ 97 or every manual tranny gone a fit on .

Just replaced a 44E trans with a M5OD. Same problem. Went to the U_Pick. They wanted $30 but ; all the drive shafts were bent due to the way they move the wrecks around with a forklift. I had the right yoke for the M5OD so I went to the local drive shaft shop and had a new shaft made. They quoted me "$200-250" on the phone but wanted $375 when I walked in. I haggled and bitched and walked out at $271.
Any truck with the M5OD will have the right yoke but short bed, long bed and extended cab all have different length shafts. Try your local junkyards.
