I got a new toy today...

Hooked it up to all three cars. the Ranger had a code for the Evaporative Emissions Control System Purge Control Valve Circuit P0443. (I knew about this one, been there for a while.)

One of the features is that I can pull "pending codes". the app says they are unverified, but holy guacamole I had 75 of the bastards! Several look like transmission codes, (confirmed a few of them)

So my question is to the Ford Techs/ ASE certified techs.. How worried should I be on these? the truck runs great, the gas mileage is off a bit, but other than that, its good. Do you clear out pending codes and see if they come back?

If you are interested, I am going to copy the screenshots down and list all of the codes...stay tuned...

for the results of the other two cars, both my 2004 Maxima and the 2009 Charger, there are no pending codes, no hard fault codes...

Yes, I would clear the codes.

Then test again after a few days of driving.
