i have a 1993 ford ranger 4cl. (2.3), five speed, regular cab. the low side pressure is reading 30 with the outside temp. 95 degrees. it has r-12 in it and it has never been converted. the compressor is cycling fine, the blower motor is blowing fine but i just dont have any cold air coming out of the vents. was working fine in 2009. what could be my problem? thanks for any help you can provide. it gets pretty hot in ga. at this time of the year.

vaccum leak or blend door broke? do you have max ac and just really hot? no air on any setting? if its no air at all something is probably clogging up the plenum. if its only hot or max ac its ur blend door. if its onlycoming out of defrost or floor its a vaccum line leaking or clogged.

With the blower on all speeds air is coming out of the vents. In max and in normal mode air comes out of vents it's just not cold just warm. The air coming out of the vents might be slightly cooler than the outside temp of 95 degrees but not much. I haven't put a thermometer in the vents yet but you can tell by feel that its not putting out cold air. blend door is ok I have air flow in all positions. Thanks for replying.

The low side pressure is 30 (PSI, I assume)... What's the high side?? (can't tell you anything about your system without knowing that)

Problem solved! I now have cold air! Thanks everyone for your help.
