The rangers getting SAS'd! Got some 03 super duty axles that i just started building. I decided that since i couldnt get rid of my beloved ranger and i missed having a wheeler that she was getting some 1 tons.

Just got the front regeared yesterday, put some new u joints in today and started cleaning it up. Hopefully i can have the rear regeared by the weekend then its game on with cutting out all the IFS bullsh*t, should be fun!

The plan is 40s and leaf springs front and rear for simplicity and cost. Maybe down the road ill link it but this should get me going for now.

Cool. Definately a thought that has crossed my mind with my '99 Ranger.

Please take LOTS of photos!

Heres what they looked like! Gonna paint them after all the welding is done to them.

I beg of thee for pictures, and info, and general knowledge. :headbang:
I am actually just a little behind you on the same type build and have a ton of questions.

What steering box/linkage are you planning?
What front springs are you planning?
What gear ratios are you thnking?

My plans are as follows
03 SD axles, 5.38, Detroit True-Trac front, Locker rear, Skyjacker 6" Ranger lift springs with RuffStuff D70 swap kit, and possibly using Rancho 44044's in front but not sure on that. Also planning to use SD steering box and 17" stock rims to run 40X13.50X17 Procomp MT2's.

Sorry for the long winded post but really excited to see someone with the same type build plans, and with you in WA there's little chance of you showing up to the dance with the same tires. :D
