I should have looked into this over a year ago apparently as it's not good... Apparently a long time ago (not in a galaxy far away though, I'm guessing in this state 
) when the clutch linkage bushing went away someone just put a key pin over the nub on the pedal side. At this point the pin has worn about 1/4" into the linkage/pushrod and 1/4 through the pin.
Now for the questions, I noticed that the pedal side has a nut holding it onto the pivot shaft thing (what the pedal pivots on, that moves the action the 6" sideways from the pedal to the linkage), is it just that easy to get off? On the pushrod going into the master cylinder, is that removable, or is it a one time press in kinda deal? Right now the clutch completely disengages right at the floor which isn't good so I'll need to address this in the near future.
