Well I told myself i wouldn't turn this rig into a wheeler and just have it as a commuter........but i say screw it. I sold my bobbed 85 toyota 4runner a while back so my 96 ranger is new to me.
I basically want to keep it simple for now but i want the right suspension setup for the terrain, there is mostly rock crawlin and down trees on the trails I run so flex is a must. I also dont want a tall ass rig, i like to keep the center of gravity low.
REAR SUSPENSION:
I read the thread on flipping the shackles and doing the chevy leaf swap, i can already tell you i will break the hell out of that rear hanger if i did that. Is there weld on hangers someone sells? Moving the front hangers and drilling new holes is no biggie, just a matter of how far forward should they be moved up?
FRONT SUSPENSION:
Kinda clueless on this as far as coils go, I am used to leafs. Recommendations? looking for good flex and I don't want to buy an expensive kit.
Thanks guys
