Finally got the B4000 painted. Not bad at all for around $400 with tax...

Take care folks.

Truck looks good man.

But, never been a Macco fan, wait a couple of weeks and see if it bubbles.... Had two buddies and a cousin that it happened to.

Thanks folks. Yes I'll watch for bubbles and etc. But they said I have a 1 year warranty so any problems just bring it back and they will fix it. We'll see how it goes.

Thanks again.

Looks good! did you do the body work yourself? I've heard that if you do that your self then you're golden. Did they do the jambs and everything too?

I just did the basic $249 paint job with $99 prep work (sanding/prep) they call it. Total $348 before taxes.

I did not do the door jams as they are an extra $75 each.

I was really on a budget and wanted to make my B4000 one color before the neighbors get mad at me lol...

Not bad for the price.

Let me know how it holds up, I have quite a few pieces to replace on my Ranger and I wouldn't mind getting a maaco job done on it. Did they do the inside of the bed or no? If they did.. was it extra? I plan on getting a rubberized bed liner sprayed in so I wouldn't need it painted.

Will do. I got my 95 GLT the same paint job 6 months ago and its holding up pretty well. For the price I love it.

Good luck with yours.

Got rid of the black wheels. I think these Ford Edge Silver wheels looks alot better.

Take care folks.

i think the biggest complaint ive heard with them is they dont use enough clearcoat, but i cant remember for sure. my dad had a maaco job on his jeep and it looked great for years. just take care of it(wash and wax) and it should look like that for many years to come
