94 somewhat rough idle then stutter+cel

So the 94s been a little cranky at idle , feel a little kick seems to be coming from passenger side, then today after I got off the freeway after about 40miles, it started chugging/stuttering(after stopping,turning then while going about45mph)and didn't really want to go tho the engine didnt shut off...the check engine light came on while it was doing it but by the time I turned into a parking lot it stopped,CEL went off and it ran fine for the rest of the trip(about five miles,55mph,then35mph)... Any ideas?

Doing it again

Alright so today it was doing it again very harsh running like misfire or maybe a vacuum leak...also my serpentine tensioner failed today,sheared off its pully after the bearing seized, and while it was goin and the belt was squealing and visibly moving slower,thought it was the a/c seizing up, while it was squealing it did the harsh running and CEL three times, it would start running like shit, then it would just run right and the CEL would go away,?, but I figured it may have been that pulley, but after chaninging it out ,the truck ran fine, then while driving it it did it again,it would run like crap with the check engine light on, then the light would go off and it'd run fine??? Electrical? Vacuum leak?? Timing issue??? Any help...?
* edit* didn't do it(chugging) until after I first heard the belt squeal,after tensioner change it did it twice, then didn't do it anymore the whole way home,20 miles at 65, 30 mins in heavy traffic,a stop at the office and then a 10 mile drive home...?when it happens it only occurs for 30secs to a minute,tho it feels like forever while driving it,lol,....
