yesterday. Im driving and beeing in 4th gear. I let off the throttle then back on, then the motor just died for a split second then came back alive. It did that twice on the way home. Today i went and got lunch and when i left a stop sign, i gunned it and the truck immediately did the same thing. It died only for a split second then came back alive, and ran fine until i got back to work. No check engine light, no codes. Any idea? Thankyou in advance for any help

It would help everyone if we had any idea of what engine you have...

Then when we know that... I will move this to the proper forum.

You have a loose connection at a battery cable, most likely on the positive side. The "dying" is the alternator being momentarily overwhelmed.

I have also had issues with the ground wire being bad or a ground being damaged or a battery not fastened down doing it. My 88 had a ground wire that someone had stripped the wire, laid it next to the next section and taped it like 4 times in a 16” section using a mix of electrical tape and duct tape. Ran a lot better after I fixed that up until it ate a valve (unrelated issue). My red 92 it apparently was the battery bouncing around in the tray doing it because someone broke the hold-down bolt or lost it, forget which. Fixed so many broken hold downs over the years, I have a box of stainless 1/4-20 bolts to replace them with, just drill and tap.

I have also had similar symptoms from really bad gas.
